Why are certain symbols grayed out and not trad-able on MT4 / MT5?

Grayed-out Forex pairs without suffix are used as reference rates for index products in different currencies and cannot be traded.

Follow these steps to see trad-able products with suffixes:

Step 1

Right-click the "Market Watch" panel and click "Show All" to display all products.

Step 2

Choose products with suffixes to start trading.

Notes:

- Forex pairs, gold, silver, and oil products have suffixes; other products like commodities, shares, or indices do not.

- Some products have specific trading hours; check by right-clicking the symbol and selecting "Specification".
